Cash Registers

As a restaurateur, you are responsible for ensuring that your cash register is SRM compatible and that it can communicate with an SRM.

To be SRM compatible, your cash register must be adapted by its manufacturer to meet our requirements and technical specifications.

Manufacturers can request that an adapted cash register be certified compliant with our technical specifications. If the adapted cash register is compliant, we issue a confirmation of certification that recognizes the compatibility of the product with an SRM.

The list below is a non-exhaustive list of products that, as of April 27, 2012, we have certified or are in the process of certifying. This list will help you choose one of the many products offered. You can also contact an SRM installer to help you make your decision.

Consult this list to make sure that the version of a product offered by your installer is certified.

Certification of compliance with technical specifications

All cash-register manufacturers can have their products certified by us. Our certification of compliance with technical specifications confirms that the product is SRM compatible.

Limitations of certification

Any change made to a certified product or to an SRM can void its certification.

Cash register manufacturers that further develop their products are solely responsible for ensuring that their products remain SRM compatible.
